While ideas are plenty, resources to translate the idea into reality are limited, resulting in the best allocation of the limited resources. One such dilemma faced during screening the children for the Super 60 program. Many children have shown enthusiasm and optimism in learning new concepts and ideas. However, there has been a severe resource crunch to identify the deserving 60 children. Therefore, a rigorous selection mechanism is implemented to identify deserving students.
The students are tested on various concepts, followed by interacting with the parents of the children. The interactions with the parents were to learn and understand their dreams towards ensuring their child’s development. After these stages, home visits were made to the shortlisted students to better understand their condition of life. Finally, 30 students were identified for the year 2022-23.
