Mask making as an alternate livelihood
Necessity is the mother of invention. When the whole world is reeling under the onslaught of the corona pandemic, these rural women's resilience in adapting to the new normal is praiseworthy. These women, with the support of Srujanavani, have created an opportunity amidst the crisis. They rose to the occasion and developed the skills in mask making and supplied masks to various organizations. While the organizations appreciated their work, these women were more content with the difference they could make with their skills.
