Srujanavani has always
been driven by the needs of society and has risen to support the needy,
especially during crisis times. Therefore, it’s only obvious that CoVID 19 crisis is another opportunity for us to support the needy and poor.
Phase -
I Activities:
The focus during the Phase I activities was
primarily to address twin objectives of providing the PPE material and supporting
the migrant labor households. Accordingly, PPE gear was given to District
Administration for effective distribution. Besides, dry ration to the migrant
labor households, especially in rural settings was undertaken. In the urban
areas, hot meals were provided to the poorer households in the slums.
Grocery Kit’s distribution:
We were able to distribute dry ration to
100 households spread across 10 villages of Cheedikada and Madugula Mandals.
Srujanavani scholars have led from the front in identifying the needy and
deserving.
Phase -II Activities:
With the experiences flowing out of the Phase I activities
we are planning to distribute 1000kits of dry ration to the households in need.
This has been taken in association with the generous support of ‘Shibulal Family
Philanthropic Initiatives’. Indeed we are equally aware that there exists a
growing need on various accounts in the post lockdown period.
While we take
this opportunity to thank all our generous supporters, we equally request you
to share the requirements in your groups to contribute to the cause. Let’s
fight together.
