Connecting dots makes colorful rangoli on the floor, but connecting needy and kind hearted makes lives of the needy colorful. That’s what happened with VR Peta school children, who are experiencing joy of safe schooling under shade which was made true by connecting needy VR Peta students with TABALA ( Telugu Association of Birmingham Alabama ) by us.
The 2014’s devastating HUDUD cyclone blown away roofs of two class rooms of VR Peta ZP high school in Butchayyapeta mandal, hence students were forced to attend their classes under open sky on mercy of weather god. We found the necessity when we started Yuvakiran center in this school, with scholar G.Ganagraju in this academic year. We got call from TABALA member Mahesh who conveyed that they were impressed with Srujanavani’s commitment & activities and shared their willingness to support any need as part of HUDUD relief in association with us. Team has sent the report with details of VR Peta school requirement and they responded generously with monetary support. The school renovation was taken up by Rural team( Gyani) with active cooperation from SMC ( school management committee) chairman & school HM.
The renovated facility was inaugurated by T.Sanyasi rao garu of TABALA on 12th Nov 2015, in presence of school staff & local representatives, students and our AC member AV Chandra Sekhar , Umasankar & our rural team. School authorities. Every one appreciated kindness of TABALA and SV (Srujanavani) efforts in charity.
The joy of students boundless as they no need to worry about rain & hot sun anymore and enjoy the learning. This is 10th school that we helped in improving schooling conditions and make it safe and pleasurable for poor students to attend school and learn. This was made possible by consistent support and faith on organization by our donors, partners and members.
